Re: Whitey Green - Post your thoughts here.

Whitey was a good brother, and maybe the best example of what many people call a "Christian Man". For several years whitey rode with us, and shared a little piece of what he was to the rest of the world. I first met Whitey in 1990, at NESFH where we both worked, and Whitey was the first person to cause me to consider buying a Harley. He would also come by my shop, even after he got spooked, and put his last bike up for sale, sometimes just to shake my hand, bear hug me, and tell me that Jesus loved me. Never did he bust my chops, he just made sure that I knew the the offer was always open to walk on the same side of the street as he did. He and Anne were regular fixtures at the Sweethearts Rides, and you didn't have to attend but one, to know that they fit the bill. I will miss Brother Whitey, and am saddened by our loss of him, but in my heart I know that despite the suddeness of the loss, NO HUMAN BEING THAT I KNOW ON THIS EARTH WAS AS READY TO GO, EVERYDAY, AS WHITEY WAS.
